MEET THE visionary
My connection to real estate started long before boardrooms and blueprints, it started as a child. I grew up fortunate, with stability and opportunity. As I got older, I started to see a world outside of what I was acclimated to; communities where that same stability didn't exist.
I found my passion in wanting to create real, tangible impact in communities that had been overlooked. I found a love for building things up from nothing. There's something powerful about looking at an empty lot, a vacant property, a forgotten neighborhood and seeing what it could become. That's where I learned that a rose really can grow from concrete and be something so beautiful.
Construction is where it all connected for me. The act of building — physically raising something from the ground — led me to a deeper question: what if we could build more than housing? What if the same hands that develop properties could also develop programs, mentorship, and support systems for the people who live in them? That's where JAHH Project, Inc. was born, and that's where HL Development found its purpose.

Determined to become a real estate mogul, I faced setbacks, including four failed attempts at the real estate exam.
